After more than 2 months of auditions and preparation, the 2025 edition of Míster Global Cuba will set a new standard for how the modern Cuban man presents himself. A male beauty pageant that promises to reflect Cuban male intelligence, culture, and elegance.
The epicenter will be on May 18 at La Scala de Brickell, where the 14 finalists will be presented. They were previously interviewed in the preliminary competition by a diverse jury on April 18 at the Hilton Miami Aventura. The event will be hosted by renowned journalist and TV presenter Erick Cuesta (Univision/VIX) and actress, former beauty queen, and entrepreneur Alina Robert. Entertainment will be provided by three-time Grammy nominee Leslie Cartaya and singer Eddie Loz.
This 2025 edition will begin with the presentation of representatives from each province of the Caribbean island, and 8 semifinalists who stood out in the preliminary round will be announced. During the final night, the jury will select 5 finalists, ultimately choosing 2 winners. The winner of Míster Global Cuba 2025 will compete in the paradise of Thailand at the Mister Global 2025 international pageant, while the other winner will travel to Colombia to compete in the Míster Model International 2025 pageant.
“Our main expectation for this edition is to provide the contestants with comprehensive preparation, offering them the support and tools necessary to excel in various areas of entertainment, modeling, and television. We want to bring the best of our national talent to international pageants, proudly elevating our country’s name. This edition seeks to establish itself as an unprecedented competition, focused primarily on the values, talent, and authenticity of our young Cuban men, who have placed their trust in us, and to whom we respond with the same commitment and dedication,” commented Giancarlo Urbina (co-director) regarding the pageant’s purpose.
The participants have enjoyed an 8-week concentration, where they have taken part in activities not only for their evolution in the pageant but also for their personal and professional growth. Some of the candidates for this edition include: Ángel Barrio (Pinar del Río), Miguel Fernández (Artemisa), Luis Suárez (Havana), Dariel Delgado (Mayabeque), Christian Pando (Cienfuegos), Daviel Ruiz (Villa Clara), Dagoberto González (Camagüey), Eddy Bosmenier (Sancti Spiritus), Jonathan Almanza (Ciego de Ávila), Gloiber Carmenate (Holguín), Leander Leyva (Granma), Osmany Mazo (Las Tunas), and Alejandro Paulino (Santiago de Cuba).
Rodolfo Fernández, co-director and the current Míster Global Cuba 2024, highlights recommendations and speaks openly about the challenges faced during his participation in the international pageant. “The most challenging part of representing my country in an international pageant was facing the experience without the proper tools, optimal preparation, a consolidated team, or effective support from a national organization. Despite this, I brought commitment, determination, and love for what I did. Without a doubt, with the right support, I could have shined even brighter and achieved a greater impact in the competition.”
